The emerging spring weather reminds us that graduation is just around the corner for the class of 2014. It is a time to reflect on fond memories of school, friends, and growing up, then to look ahead at the exciting and at times scary task of becoming an adult. Life hinges on the fleeting moment we pull the tassel from one side of the cap to the other. As a youth it is a moment impatiently awaited, quickly over, but never forgotten.
I had the pleasure of taking portraits for Xena, a senior at my church. I hope that I captured something of this point in her life that she can remember and cherish in the years to come.
