Lake Havasu

Last month I traveled to Arizona for my wife’s family reunion. We had a lot of fun and saw a lot of sites along the way. We spent the first couple days in my wife’s childhood town, Lake Havasu City.  Unfortunately, this time of year it is not unusual for temperatures in Lake Havasu to top 120 degrees fahrenheit.  We spent a lot of time inside with air conditioning or swimming.

One of the special attractions in Lake Havasu City is the famous London Bridge. This landmark was purchased from the City of London, transported to Arizona, and rebuilt brick by brick. I won’t delve too much into the whole history, but if you’re interested you can read more on that here.IMG_8950-Edit-EditIMG_9027-Edit-Edit IMG_9024-Edit-Edit
